Returns & Cancellation Policy:
 
Cancellations (for stock products - only applies to products in stock at time of order):
Orders that have not shipped may be canceled for a refund. A cancelation fee of 5% will be applied.
If a product has shipped (often ships the same day), see the following.

Cancellations Custom or Made-to-order Products
Custom orders cannot be canceled once the order has been approved.
Canceling a custom order that was not signed off on is subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
 
Returns:
Materials must be in their Original Condition and their Original Packaging: Photos of product and carton maybe required prior to your returning the product
Items designated as "Made to Order", or "Special Order" in the products details may not be returnable - please contact our office.
Stock Products shipped within 90 days may be returned for a  restocking fee (see below). The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Note that the cost you pay to ship your product back may be considerably more than the shipping cost shown on your invoice.
  • Emtek Products - All returned Emtek brand products are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Cupola Products are subject to a 35% restocking fee.
  • Fypon Products - Fypon stock products are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Items returned broken or damaged by the freight company will be denied credit. Under those circumstances the customer will have to file any freight claim.
  • Products not listed above are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Items older than 90 days are not returnable.
Note: if your order met prepaid freight and your return or cancellation brings your total order under the prepaid freight amount then BHS's outgoing freight cost will be deducted from the refund.

Please obtain a RGA (returns good authorization) number prior to sending your product back. RGA's may be obtained through sales@beaconhillsupply.com.  The RGA will have the return address for the specific product that you purchased. 
 
Returns on Defective Materials:
Please contact our office via email sales@beaconhillsupply.com or via phone at 800-518-0781. Some product defects will require a digital picture to be emailed to us.  If a product is defective we will issue a call-tag for the product and replace the product at no charge and with no shipping or handling charges. Please retain all shipping materials.

Product delivered by UPS, FEDEX, USPS that has visible damage to the carton must be inspected within 3 days for concealed damage. Failure to do so will negate any damage claim.  

Product that is visibly damaged in transport from a motor freight company must be refused or noted on the freight bill. Once you accept a product it becomes your responsibility to file for freight claims. Concealed damage must be reported immediately to the freight carrier.

Please obtain a RGA prior to returning the product. Some products have a manufacturer's warranty which limits the scope of the warranty. Please contact us for a current copy of the warranty.  Unfinished wood products are not warranted for how a finish appears after it is applied by you or your painting contractor.
Once you have your RGA, please mail your package in a prepaid, insured, traceable method to the address indicated on the RGA.
