Ornamental Capitals for Round Tapered PermaCast Columns

Round PermaCast Columns
Contractor cuts the round shaft off above the neckmold. Adding a load bearing ornamental capital to a round PermaCast column will then lengthen or shorten the overall height of the column
depending on the height of the capital. Subtract the T dimension (from the column dimensions chart) and add the height of the ornamental capital +/- 1/4" for overall column height. Note: if using with Fluted columns you may need to choose the "Custom Fluted" shaft to avoid flute issues.

What You Need To Know

8" to 12" capitals are load bearing
14" to 30" capitals are not load bearing and include a plug to transfer the weight load
Inside diameter of the ornamental capital is smaller than the inside top diameter of the shaft
Molded from polyurethane resin. Weather, rot and bug proof
